Good evening, Swim Families! It has been an exciting day, and the weekend is not over yet!
We were victorious this morning against Fort Washington, that means we have ended our season UNDEFEATED! Way to go Torpedoes!!!! Indian Head Torpedoes- 305 Fort Washington Sharks- 256
We had some awesome swims this weekend and the least DQs to date, there were several races that were an absolute battle down to the millisecond and won by a fingernail touch. A few event highlights Zekariah Seger had an amazing freestyle swim and best time today, his brother Uriah cut 8 seconds off his freestyle and 6 seconds off his backstroke. Alexander Anno-Gatchell swam Butterfly for the first time and did a great job! Anna Huynh did awesome in her breaststroke she stayed legal with a big grin on her face the entire time. Robert Wilson III also has an awesome breaststroke swim. Pri Martinez has some spectacular swims and even took 1st in her backstroke. Isana and Miri Quijano both had their debut meet and did an amazing job!
