Today’s Action Items:

Do these 3 things in SwimTopia by noon Wednesday, please.

1. Declare whether your swimmer(s) will be participating in Saturday’s meet.

2. Pick which volunteer job(s) your family member(s) will fill at the meet.

3. Indicate what item(s) you would like to donate to concessions, if any.

The swimmer attendance sign-up will close at noon on Wednesday. Coach Mel must submit the meet entries on Thursday. She is unable to add swimmers once the entries are submitted, so it is imperative that you sign up in a timely manner.

Know Before You Go:

Arrive on time: we want to host an outstanding, on-time, smooth running meet!

Spectators will all sit in the mezzanine; wet swimmers are not permitted there.

PGC swimmers will assemble on the right/front/parking lot-side bleachers.

IHST swimmers will assemble on the left/back/patio-side bleachers.

Swimmers are expected to remain on the bleachers for the duration of the meet.

If you wish to set up a canopy and chairs on the back patio, you may.

Swimmers: upon arrival, check in with Coach to get your race assignments.

Volunteers: check in with Abbegail Cornwall Tasic, Meet Manager, about your meet job.

We will conduct a Guppy Race during the break. If you have little swimmers who are not yet on the team, who would like to swim one length of the pool, bring a suit for them!

Families are expected to stay until the end of the meet (unless you have coordinated with the Coach) as the Coach doesn’t decide who will swim the final relays until the end of the meet.

Concession and Gear:

Your support at the concessions stand is vital to keeping our team running smoothly this season! Whether through volunteering, donating supplies, or simply making purchases, every contribution directly helps cover operational costs, from equipment and facility fees to insurance and coaching salary. By grabbing a snack or lending a hand, you’re not just fueling the excitement you’re ensuring that we have the resources needed to make this year a success. Thank you for being a part of our community and helping us thrive.

All swimmers must have an IHST cap and competition suit for meets. If you have not yet ordered a team cap, please do so on SwimTopia now. You can purchase competition suits at the Indian Head Swim Team store on SwimOutlet.com (https://www.swimoutlet.com/collections/indianhead).

Friday Night set-up:

Please stay on Friday night to help set up for Saturday’s meet.

Let me know if you have any questions about Saturday’s meet.

Go Torpedoes!
