Reminder: McConnell Family IHST Swim Scholarship

Hello Torpedoes,

We wanted to remind you all of the the McConnell Family IHST Swim Scholarship for swimmers who are graduating seniors! This scholarship is designed to support our swimmers as they transition to the next phase of their lives.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must have participated in the Indian Head Swim Team for at least two seasons.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Demonstrated involvement in community service or volunteer work.
  • Submission of one letter of recommendation from a coach or teacher.
  • Submission of a 1,000-word minimum essay, painting, drawing, or other forms of artistic talent that depict the impact of swimming on their life and future goals.

    Amount: $500.00

    Deadline: July 1, 2025

    Submission: All applications must be emailed to [email protected] as a Word Document or PDF.

    We encourage all eligible swimmers to apply and share their stories with us. This scholarship is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and spirit of our swimmers. Good luck to all applicants!
