Dear IHST Families,

We’re looking forward to another exciting meet this Saturday July 5, 2025 as we take on West Laurel Swim Club (WLS). Below are all the details you'll need to prepare.

Meet Location: 7203 Brooklyn Bridge Road Laurel, MD 20707

Schedule:

7:25 AM: IHST Arrival

7:30–7:50 AM: West Laurel Warm-Ups

7:55–8:15 AM: IHST Warm-Ups

8:00 AM: Officials’ Meeting

8:15 AM: Timers’ Meeting

8:25 AM: National Anthem

8:30 AM: Meet Begins

Parking Information:

The West Laurel Swim parking lot fills up quickly. Do not park on the south side (pool side) of Brooklyn Bridge Road—violators will be ticketed. You can park on the opposite side of the pool if needed. WLS is encouraging their families to park on the street to leave room for visiting teams.

Team Area for IHST:

IHST will have the red pavilion and picnic tables for their team area. They will also have the grassy area in front of the pavilion. WLS team area will be the grassy area near the fence and next to the red pavilion. Families are encouraged to bring chairs and are welcome to bring canopies to set up in the team area.

Pool Details:

Swimmers will dive from both ends of our pool. Timers will not have to move. The pool length is slightly shorter than the standard 25 meters, so raw pool times will be converted to a 25-meter pool. There will be no guppy/peewee races due to the 12 ft depth of the pool.

Concessions:

Concessions will be available during the meet. Cash and cards are accepted.

Volunteer Check-In:

All volunteers should check in upon arrival at the head judge’s table, located on the far corner of the pool deck.

If you haven’t declared yet, please do so by noon tomorrow so we can finalize the line-up.
