IHST will be hosting WHITEHALL POOL AND TENNIS CLUB (WPT) on Saturday.

Location: DMWAC- 5305 Piney Church Rd, Waldorf, MD 20602

Important Times:

7:00 AM – Arrival

7:30–7:50 AM – IHST Warm-Ups

8:00–8:20 AM – WPT Warm-Ups

8:00 AM – Officials’ & Timers’ Meetings

8:25 AM – National Anthem

8:30 AM – Meet Begins

12:00 PM – Meet Concludes (estimated)

Today’s Action Items:

Do these 2 things in SwimTopia by noon Wednesday, please.

1. Declare whether your swimmer(s) will be participating in Saturday’s meet.

2. Pick which volunteer job(s) your family member(s) will fill at the meet.

The swimmer attendance sign-up will close at noon on Wednesday. Coach Jo must submit the meet entries on Thursday. She is unable to add swimmers once the entries are submitted, so it is imperative that you sign up in a timely manner.

Know Before You Go:

Arrive on time: we want to host an outstanding, on-time, smooth running meet!

Spectators will all sit in the mezzanine; wet swimmers are not permitted there.

WPT swimmers will assemble on the right side of the bleachers.

IHST swimmers will assemble on the left side of the bleachers.

Swimmers are expected to remain on the bleachers for the duration of the meet.

Swimmers: upon arrival, check in with Coach to get your race assignments.

Volunteers: check in with Janice, Meet Manager, about your meet job.

We will conduct a Guppy Race during the break. If you have little swimmers who are not yet on the team, who would like to swim one length of the pool, bring a suit for them!

Families are expected to stay until the end of the meet (unless you have coordinated with the Coach) as the Coach doesn’t decide who will swim the final relays until the end of the meet.

Concession and Gear:

Please note that concessions are prohibited at this facility this season. No food or drinks will be available for purchase.

Be sure to pack:

Plenty of water and hydrating drinks

Snacks and meals

Anything your swimmer may need to stay fueled and energized throughout the day

Our End-of-Season Banquet sign-up is officially open! Please sign up as soon as possible so we can get an accurate headcount and plan accordingly.

While you're signing up, please also visit the Job Sign-Up section to donate an item for the banquet. Since we did not have concessions this season, our fundraising income has been limited, so every donation helps make this celebration special for our swimmers.
